Our Team
Our team of therapists is led by Karen Stowe who started working as a volunteer for the charity when it was founded in 2014. She was appointed as Clinical Lead in 2023. Karen is an experienced energy and integrative psychotherapist and a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapists (all of our therapists are accredited with professional therapy organisations). She is a member of ACEP (Association For Comprehensive Energy Psychology) and holds an MA and Advanced Diploma from the Minster Centre, London.
Our board of trustees is chaired by Nancy Browner MA, an integrative/psychodynamic psychotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She is a recognised UKCP supervisor and supervises trainees, qualified psychotherapists and counsellors. Since 2007 she has been teaching at the Minster Centre where she is Leader for the 1st Year Diploma in Counselling and MA/Advanced Diploma.
Our other trustees include treasurer, Toby Low, a senior advisor and producer of financial communications for some of the world’s largest and most respected companies; Deborah Humphrey, a writer who worked for many years in the NHS as a senior mental health nurse; psychotherapist and accredited EMDR consultant, Kate Moberly; and Jo Black, who brings her invaluable experience of being an ex-service user. Jo went on to train as an energy psychotherapist and has now joined our therapy team.
